I had a hot turkey sandwich: white bread with turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, and cranberry sauce. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the gravy was smooth, the cranberry sauce had little chunks of cranberries.
My friend had a burger with sweet potato fries. His original choice: eggplant fries, where not available. His sweet potato fries where slightly sweet and mushier than potato fries are.
We also ordered a couple of frozen mango daiquiris. It tasted as though fresh mango was used to make it, and it had a few little chunks of mango.
We are looking forward to returning for dinner and to listen to their bands play. They have a band playing every Friday and Saturday. I was told the The Rockaways (Rock and Roll) are pretty good.
